SAP GUI 7.4 Bex button with command area lets bex crash

Hi all,

we just upgraded to SAP GUI 7.4 and now I do have trouble with buttons in my workbooks.

Instead of having the commands directly within the button, we have them in Excel and read them through the command area.

This worked fine, but now when I press the button, I get the message that Bex encountered a critical programm error and my Excel and bex get closed.

It does work fine when I use the commands right inside the buttons, but to fill variables I need to read data from excel cells, which as far as I know is only possible via the command area.
